Battle for the Planet of the Apes (1973): "Ape-Jesus"

We're halfway through PLANET OF THE APE-RIL, Spookies! And we've just about worked our way through all of the originals. This week on Spooky Tuesday, we're wrapping up that portion of our Planet of the Apes theme month as we cover Conquest of the Planet of the Apes (1972) and Battle for the Planet of the Apes (1973). Taking its new Earth-bound setting to the next level, the final two flicks in this franchise look to the not-so-distant future (which is still our present-day-past) as they tackle the '90s and beyond and start to lay the groundwork for some familiar settings.
